Michael Whippman Award 2007

The residents of Anchor House won the inaugural Michael Whippman Award 2007 for Service User Involvement.

The award, in recognition of the contribution that homeless people make, was awarded at a reception at Sadlers Wells.

Anchor House residents were worthy winners as they demonstrated to the judges their achievements in just 18 months.

In that time, they developed an involvement model, a policy and procedure committee, a range of courses, a football team and community volunteering.
